Glistening Calcite draping around Quartz crystals on a bed of Sphalerite. Great combo.
Absolutely gorgeous Green, lustrous, doubly terminated Apatite (Fluorapatite) crystal in Calcite. This huge crystal measures 10.7 cm from tip to tip. It's in pristine condition (with no repairs) ! Actually a compound crystal with a smaller intergrown Apatite crystal along the right side. This is such a great specimen, that I am not overly anxious to sell it.
Numerous black Neptunite crystals, with vitreous luster, on white Natrolite.
Named for Neptune, the Roman god of the Sea, Neptunite is a relatively rare mineral that was discovered in the last century. The classic locality for both Neptunite and a companion mineral, Benitoite, is the Benitoite Gem Mine in San Benito Co., California. In this locality, both Neptunite and Benitoite grow in the white Natrolite that runs in veins through the serpentine.
Nice plate of Calcite crystals with vitreous luster..
Tooele County is Basin and Range country. Most of its towns lie in a broad valley between the mineral-rich Oquirrh Mountains on the eastern border and the Onaqui and Stansbury mountains to the west. The Great Salt Lake Desert covers most of western Tooele County, except the southwest corner where the Deep Creek Mountains rise.
The Rush Valley Mining District, organized in 1864 by soldiers from Fort Douglas, included all of the western Oquirrhs. More than 500 mining claims were located during the first year. Of the mining towns founded in Tooele County, Ophir and Mercur became the most important.
Rich yellow, tabular crystals of Wulfenite with well defined faces and edges. On a matrix of white rhombohedral crystals of Dolomite. Main crystal size is 0.7 x 0.7 cm. Very good and hard to find quality from the Touissit location. Wulfenite is named for Franz Xavier von Wulfen (1728-1805), an Austrian mineralogist.
Very nice, clear green Fluorite crystals covering both sides.
Situated in the southern part of China on the Nanhai Sea (South China Sea), Guangdong province borders on Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian and Guangxi, and is separated from Hainan Province by the Qiongzhou Strait. Area:about 180000 km'.
Yuntai Garden (yún-tái-huā-yuán) is situated at the foot of Baiyun (White Cloud) Mountain, famous for its wide variety of rare flowers and trees (From Wikitravel )
Shimmering book of Muscovite on Albite. The name of Muscovite comes from Muscovy-glass, a name formerly used for the mineral because of its use in Russia for windows.

The Urals is a common geographical name of the area of Russia around the Ural Mountains. It is a vast territory which includes major cities like Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk, as well as parts of the polar areas. The Ural mountains are among the oldest mountains on Earth and are generally not very high, more often looking like large hills (From Wikitravel)
Off white Microcline cluster with very dark crystals of Smoky Quartz.
Quite a neat Selenite specimen with inclusions of sprays of glassy, dark green Atacamite crystals. Atacamite is a mineral found originally in the desert of Atacama Desert, Chile, and named by D. de Gallizen in 1801.
Strontianite (SrCO3) is a mineral consisting of strontium carbonate, named after the village of Strontian, Lochaber, Scotland, where it was first discovered. This mineral is white, greenish, or yellowish in color, usually occurring in fibrous massive forms, but sometimes in prismatic crystals. It is an important raw material for the extraction of strontium (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
