Gorgeous clear emerald green Fluorite crystals from the Erongo Mountains. The value relates to the unusually rich color, size and condition of this specimen
In the neighborhood of Omaruru, in western Namibia are the Erongo Mountains. Over 60 Million years old, these volcanic ruins elevated to a height of 2300 m and a diameter of 40 KM and are the remains of the once biggest volcano south of the equator. Bordered by steep verges and the rugged interior, it is the abode of numerous wild animals, birds, plants and some farmers who have recognized this unique environment. The mountains are also a source for exceptional minerals such as aquamarine, topaz and fluorite.
Beautiful lustrous butterscotch colored tabular Wulfenite crystals with beveled edges nicely dispersed on matrix. High quality specimens of Wulfenite from this famous mine are getting very difficult to find.Wulfenite is named for Franz Xavier von Wulfen (1728-1805), an Austrian mineralogist.

A gorgeous burst of light pastel pink Calcite crystals up to 9cm in length. This is a very hard to find classic old Colorado specimen. It is highly fluorescent.
The San Juan Mountains are a rugged mountain range in the Rocky Mountains in southwestern Colorado. The area is highly mineralized (the Colorado Mineral Belt) and figured in the gold and silver mining industry of early Colorado. Major towns, all old mining camps, include Creede, Lake City, Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride. Large scale mining is now uneconomical in the region, although independent prospectors still work claims throughout the range (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
Wow !! A stunning large plate of glassy Apophyllite crystals up to 4 cm in length and doubly terminated accented by salmon colored lustrous Stilbite crystals. This is a well above average Indian mineral specimen.

Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast', Northern Region, Russia

Astrophyllite is a very rare, brown to golden yellow hydrous potassium iron titanium silicate mineral. Belonging to the astrophyllite group, astrophyllite may be classed either as an inosilicate, phyllosilicate or an intermediate between the two. It forms an isomorphous series with kupletskite, to which it is visually identical and often intimately associated. Astrophyllite is of interest primarily to scientists and collectors.
Heavy, soft and fragile, astrophyllite typically forms as bladed, radiating stellate aggregates. It is this crystal habit that gives astrophyllite its name; from the Greek words astron meaning "star" and phyllon meaning "leaf." Its high, submetallic lustre and dark colour contrast sharply with the light coloured (felsic) matrix the mineral is regularly found within. Astrophyllite is usually opaque to translucent, but may be transparent in thin specimens

Shattuckite is a relatively rare copper silicate mineral with a beautiful blue color. Here it is associated with less common "Primary" Malachite, i.e., Malachite in its pure crystalline state.
Shattuckite is a relatively rare copper silicate mineral. It was first discovered in 1915 in the copper mines of Bisbee, Arizona, specifically the Shattuck Mine.
