A beautiful intergrown sculptural network of individual hexagonal Calcite crystals aesthetically displayed on a Limestone matrix. The Calcite crystals, measuring to 8 cm, span 180 degrees across the front of the specimen in a pinwheel fashion around the matrix. Each crystal is coated with yellowish brown iron staining but has a clear translucent glassy window pane center. In fine condition.
